Private AI for banks and finance firms in the UAE

Facility agreements, mandates and client records can't go near a public AI service. Cynk reads them where they're kept and answers with the page behind every figure.

Why finance teams can't use public AI.

The Central Bank of the UAE's outsourcing regulation requires banks to keep the master record of customer data in the UAE. Firms in the DIFC and ADGM stay fully answerable to the DFSA or the FSRA for anything they outsource. A public AI tool sends prompts and files to a vendor's servers, often abroad, so compliance blocks it.

Cynk runs in your own environment, or in a UAE cloud for your firm alone, so it goes through the same review as any other system that holds client data.

What Cynk does for a finance team.

  • Read every facility

Ask for every Murabaha facility signed in 1446 AH and get the profit rate and tenor of each, with the page it came from.

  • Check the numbers

Trace a figure in the board pack back to the report it came from, and see where two sources disagree.

  • Compare with the market

Set your fees or rates against published sources, with outside material labelled separately.

  • Draft the review

Write the credit memo or quarterly commentary from your own files, with every figure traced.

Built for regulated data.

  • Access by desk

Access is set per team, so the credit team, the wealth desk and finance each see only their own files.

  • A source for every figure

Every answer cites the document and page, so a reviewer can check it before it goes into a report.

  • No training on client data

Cynk does not use your data to train models.

  • Islamic finance on its own terms

Cynk is built to read Murabaha, Ijara, Musharaka and Sukuk as their own structures, and to resolve Hijri and Gregorian dates together.

Questions finance teams ask.

Will our regulator accept it?

That decision is yours and your regulator's. Cynk is designed to make the review straightforward: it runs in your environment or a UAE cloud for your firm alone, reads only what you grant it, and keeps each team's data separate. We work through your outsourcing and data requirements in a private briefing.

Can it read statements and spreadsheets?

Yes. Cynk reads PDFs with their tables intact, as well as Excel and CSV files, so it can answer from statements, models and reports.

Does it handle Hijri dates?

Yes. Ask for everything signed in Ramadan 1446 or in March 2025 and get the same documents.

In a private briefing we show Cynk answering it on documents like yours. Our first pilots run in Dubai.
