What is Cynk?
- Cynk is a private AI assistant for businesses in the Gulf. It runs inside your company or in a private UAE cloud for your firm alone, connects to your files and business systems, does the work you ask, and answers in Arabic or English with a source for every claim.
Where does Cynk run?
- Two ways. For firms, Cynk runs in a UAE cloud region for your firm alone, run by our team. For enterprises, it runs on your own servers or in your own cloud account. Neither is a shared multi-client service.
Does my data leave my infrastructure?
- Your data never goes to a shared public AI service. In the private UAE cloud, your data and the model stay in the UAE, and nothing leaves unless you turn on web search. On your own servers with a self-hosted model, nothing leaves your network unless you turn on web search. With a model served through your own cloud account, prompts and retrieved passages go to that model endpoint under your own cloud agreement.
Does Cynk train AI models on our data?
- No. Cynk does not use your data to train models.
Which systems can Cynk connect to?
- Cynk has 18 named connectors: Aprimo, Brandfolder, Frontify, Canto, Dash, Sitecore, Frame.io, Box, Google Ads, DV360, LinkedIn, TikTok Ads, Pinterest, Pinterest Ads, WebSweep, Crawlbase, Gmail and Monday.com. New connectors are built on the same framework.
Does Cynk work in Arabic?
- Yes. Cynk is built for Arabic and English in the same conversation, including the Gulf habit of switching between the two mid-sentence. Tuning for Khaleeji usage is in active development.
How is Cynk different from ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot?
- Public assistants process your data in the vendor's cloud, often outside the country, which is why many Gulf firms block them. Cynk runs in your environment or a private UAE cloud, reads only the systems you connect with access set per team, cites every answer, and is built around how your firm works.
How does Cynk handle Hijri dates?
- Cynk is built to resolve Hijri and Gregorian dates in the same question, so a search for documents signed in Ramadan 1446 and a search for March 2025 return the same files.
Is Cynk compliant with the UAE PDPL?
- Compliance sits with the organisation that processes the data. Cynk is designed to make it easier: it runs in your environment, in the region you choose, reads only what you grant it and keeps each team's data separate. We cover your specific obligations in a private briefing.

- Private companies in the GCC that want AI on their own data but cannot send it to a public AI service: law firms, healthcare providers, finance firms, property companies, and enterprises with strict IT rules.
